DialogSystem at Swedish Air Force Museum
The Swedish Air force Museum (Flygvapenmuseum), which has won a string of awards – including the Swedish Museum Association's Exhibition of the Year 2010 and Museum of the Year 2011 – has taken delivery of an aMuze Interactive Group DialogSystem.
The Museum is a technical and cultural history museum with exhibitions that trace the development of military aviation from the early 20th century to the present. The collection includes about 250,000 objects, ranging from exhibited, stored, lent and flying aircraft to artifacts from all matters concerned with the Air Force, such as uniforms, drawings, textiles, medical and technical artifacts, and much more.
Providing a broader historical and social context for all of this is an important part of the museum's mission. The Group DialogSystem will be used with visiting school classes and other groups to engage them in structured discussions about the issues and challenges that derive from the museum's content.
