FUISM Pedagogical Award
We are proud to have been part of the team behind (In)human, a multi-institutional exhibit on racial biology and racial hygiene, produced by the Living History Forum, Ethnographic Museum, and Swedish Traveling Exhibitions. The exhibit won the FUISM award for the best educational project of 2010, at the annual meeting of the Association of Swedish Museums.

The jury's motivation was:
"For a well-executed concept which, using technology, playfulness and gravity, has engaged young people in the exploration of the exhibit's issues, and stimulated reflection and dialog about the right of all people to be valued equally."
The exhibit, which was installed at both the Ethnographic Museum and the Living History Forum, and which will be going on tour in the autumn of 2011, incorporated both the aMuze! Group DialogSystem and individual DialogStations.

MUSE Media and Technology Award
The aMuze Interactive KnowledgeCard System won a MUSE Media and Technology award for "Extended Experiences" at the 2007 American Association of Museums annual conference for our work with the Swedish Museum of Natural History's climate exhibit,
Here's what the judges said:
"Building a website to extend the experience of an exhibition is not always enough. Visitors must actually choose to visit the site. The
mission:CLIMATE Interactive Knowledge Card draws visitors to the site in an ingenious way: purchasing a CD with exhibition multimedia content for a minimal fee enables visitors to tag content of interest using a bar code on the CD packaging as they explore the exhibition. When viewing the CD at home on an Internet-connected computer, visitors are offered the option to visit their personalized site from the CD entry page. The CD, in addition to standing on its own as a source of content and continued exploration, also provides a doorway into the website and its continuously updated content. mission:CLIMATE offers a creative, innovative solution to drawing visitors to and keeping them interacting with the extended exhibition experience."
